If you use the Shoppeez staff mobile app as an employee of a business that uses Shoppeez, additional information may be collected on behalf of that employer (your “Organization”), including attendance records, photos submitted for attendance verification, and location data as described in the Location Information section at the end of this policy.

Data Security

We implement security measures that meet the highest industry standards to ensure the protection of your personal information. Our secure servers and encryption protocols ensure that your data is protected against unauthorized access or disclosure.

Sharing of Information

We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties for their marketing purposes. Staff attendance and location data collected through the mobile app are shared with your Organization and its authorized users as part of the Shoppeez service. We may also share information with service providers who help us operate the platform (such as hosting and payment processors), subject to confidentiality obligations, when required by law, or with your consent. We may share aggregated, non-personal information for analytical purposes.

To enrich your browsing experience and gather insights into usage patterns, we utilize cookies and similar technologies. These tools help us understand your preferences and optimize our services accordingly.

Your Choices

You have the right to review, edit, or delete your personal information where applicable. You can opt out of promotional communications at any time. On mobile devices, you can control location access through your device settings (including granting location only while using the app or denying background location). Denying location permission may prevent attendance punch verification or field location tracking features from working. Staff users should contact their Organization regarding access to or correction of employment-related data. Please note that certain information is necessary for using our platform, and opting out may affect your experience.

Proprietary Rights

All platform content, designs, logos, and materials are owned exclusively by Aapad Software Solutions Private Limited, protected by intellectual property laws. Unauthorized use, reproduction, or modification is prohibited. Aapad Software Solutions Private Limited reserves all rights to Shoppeez's materials and trademarks. Any feedback you provide may be used without obligation. Our logo and trademarks are solely owned by Aapad Software Solutions Private Limited and cannot be used in connection with others' products/services. Your use of Shoppeez doesn't grant you rights to our proprietary materials. Violations may lead to legal action. Terms subject to periodic updates.

Changes to the Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated periodically. We will notify you about any significant changes and provide you with the option to review and accept the updated terms.

Location Information (Mobile App)

The Shoppeez staff mobile app may request access to your device’s location, including while the app is in use (foreground) and, where enabled by your device settings, while the app is in the background. We collect location data only when you grant the relevant permission on your device.

What location data we collect. Depending on how your Organization uses Shoppeez, we may collect precise geographic location information, including latitude and longitude, time of recording, estimated location accuracy, movement speed and direction, an optional human-readable address, device battery level at the time of recording, whether the reading came from foreground or background collection, and whether a mock or spoofed location was detected.

Why we collect location data. Location data is used for legitimate workforce and operations purposes, including:

When location is collected. Attendance-related location is collected when you perform a punch-in or punch-out that requires location verification. Continuous field location tracking applies only if your Organization has enabled field location tracking, your staff profile is configured for field work and tracking, and you are punched in for the day. If tracking is not enabled, you are not eligible, or you are not punched in, location points for field tracking are not stored. You may stop field location collection by punching out or by revoking location permission on your device (which may limit attendance and tracking features).

Who can see location data. Location data collected through the staff app is associated with your staff account and is accessible to authorized users of your Organization (such as administrators and managers) through the Shoppeez platform. Aapad Software Solutions Private Limited processes this data as a service provider to your Organization and does not sell your location data to third parties.

Retention. Location logs are retained for as long as your Organization’s account remains active and as needed for attendance, payroll, audit, and operational records, unless your Organization or applicable law requires earlier deletion. Contact your Organization for its internal retention practices.
